Jean True, founder and president of True Cuisine started her cooking career hosting cooking classes over 30 years ago. Several years later she realized that her students would rather order their “lessons” than prepare the food, thus the catering division was launched. True accepted the task of placing a commercial kitchen in her Glen Ellyn home, and began accepting orders. Expansion soon came to True as she hired chefs and servers to assist with planning, cooking and deliveries. Since 1999, True Cuisine has earned the title of “The Best Caterer in DuPage County” by Western Suburban Magazine.

Not before long, the aroma of Jean True’s cooking and friendly staff had spread like wildfire across the Western Suburbs and into Downtown Chicago. In March of 2008, True and her staff were invited to be the exclusive caterer of Bridal Loft Chicago, a stylish resource center for chic brides in the Western Loop. She is also well respected for her creative menus, delicious cuisine, exquisite attention to detail and outstanding customer service at venues all over Chicagoland.
